Emmanuel Adebayor Williams is a 2017 high school graduate of Christ the King Catholic School in Monrovia and currently an international student studying Computer Science and Technology at Liaoning University of Technology in Northeastern China. He’s currently the coordinator of the Liberian students in Jinzhou City, Liaoning Province, PR China and also serving as a board member and the Public Relations Officer of a non-profit Organization called “From Street to School and Global Learning Liberia Inc”, founded by the German Organization called “From Street to School und Globales Lernen” in 2003 prior to the Liberian civil war. Our main purpose is to help less-fortunate children have access to quality education which supports one of the SDGs. Our current president is Mrs. Andrea Schaal from Germany who is also the principal of Pestalozzi Gymnasium in Munich, German, while Rev. Fr. Johnny-Clement Kombo serve as the Country’s representative of Liberia’s chapter. From Street to School currently sponsor about 60 high school students in three counties of Liberia, including: Montserrado, Margibi and Bomi counties. From Street to School is also engaged with students exchange programs and he currently works as the secretary for this group which has lasted for about two years. Every year around July, the organization also holds series of programs for students of different institutions such as: Essay Writing competition, reading comprehension among others. Our key role is to promote global learning where everyone can interact with each other and learn the cultures and traditions of other nations. In 2014 during the heat of the Ebola crisis in Liberia, he also served with a delegate of other prominent Liberians to help students acquire some knowledge while schools were closed. Throughout his life he has learn to serve young people and put a smile on the faces of others and he is so happy being a youth leader. It is his hope and prayer that this dream be implemented globally.
